Passport and Visa
Your passport must be valid for more than 6 months.
Entry is prohibited for those with Israeli stamps or visas in their passport.

Flights
Fly into Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY), the main gateway to Lebanon.
Middle East, Air Canada, Air France, Turkish Airlines, Emirates, Aegean Airlines, Royal Jordanian, and more, all offer daily flight options to Beirut.

Currency & Exchange
We recommend bringing enough USD cash with you for the duration of your stay. While international credit cards are accepted in Lebanon, it is not common and often subject to fees.

Languages Spoken
Most Lebanese are fluent in English, French and Arabic.
If you find yourself in a bind, all you have to do is call your personal translators, US!

Sim Cards
Available at the airport or at the phone shops. We recommend purchasing an e-sim from Airalo to get by until you can get a sim card (e-sim options are limited and expensive, whereas sim cards are widely accessible and very affordable).

Vacation rentals or Airbnbs are often better located, more affordable, and offer a more authentic local experience than hotels, putting you in the heart of Beirut's vibrant culture.
Consider booking your stay in one of the following neighborhoods: Achrafieh, Gemmayzeh, Mar Mikhael, Badaro, or Monot.
